F.A.Q.

There is so much conflicting information out there that it can get down right scary! Don’t worry – you’re not alone. We’ve seen a lot and created this FAQ page to manage all our most popular frequently asked questions.

Do I Really Need a Website?

In the age of Facebook, you may have heard that websites are over. This could not be further from the truth.

Facebook is pay for play (no freebies anymore!). When you run ads on Facebook you have to send them somewhere. This could be simply a single page on Squarespace or a landing page.

Okay – what next? How can you differentiate visitors from potential customers? You need pages that help a customer make a decision (about, pricing, testimonials) and using analytics track who visited those pages for better sales follow up.

Facebook and other online sources can’t offer any of the above.

How Much Does a Website Cost

This is a really tough question. Websites can cost anywhere from $1 to $50 million. Our WordPress powered sites start at $6,000 for a custom designed business website and go up from there based on unique business needs.

Do You Write Content?

For advertising & social media we write the copy internally.

We do not directly write long form content. For projects that require long form copy we will connect you with a specialist in your particular niche.

Can I Use [Insert Name] Hosting?

We have a list of recommended hosting providers that specialize in WordPress.

This is a short list as modern web hosting requires advanced security features, daily backups, & other features that $1/month hosting can’t provide.

Why Do You Use WordPress?

WordPress is open source content management software and currently powers around 25% of all websites on the Internet. These include publishers such as TechCrunch, Wired, & The New York Times.

The project is contributed to by tens of thousands of developers all over the world and keeps growing. This benefits your business as (most) solutions have been done before & require minimal custom development.

Furthermore, the community of web developers that use WordPress reaches far and wide and allows us to tap into this collective intelligence and bring that wealth of experience to your project.
